Babe Ruth Background Check and Abuse Prevention Training
All Rec/House and Travel Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches (anyone on the field working with the players) are subject to an bi-annual background check and Abuse Prevention Training requirements. Create a membership here to register yourself as a coach with our league and kick off any missing requirements. Babe Ruth Coaching Certification:
It is required that all Travel Coaches complete the Babe Ruth coaches certification. This is recommended for house coaches.

Once you receive your completion certificate, please add it to your team binder.
SafeSport Training (USA Softball)
All Travel Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches must complete SafeSport training through USA Softball. SafeSport is a free, online training course designed to keep all athletes safe, supported, and strengthened through sport. The U.S. Center for SafeSport helps members of the sports community recognize, reduce and respond to misconduct in sport.

ACE Education Coaching Certification (USA Softball)
All Rec/House Head Coaches are not required but are recommended, to take the ACE Coaching course. The ACE Program is developed and designed to provide softball coaches of all levels - from beginning coaches to experienced veterans - an opportunity to be educated as a coach with a national softball organization.
The $25 fee includes a background check, so if you decide to become ACE certified, please do not also complete a separate background check. All Travel Coaches are required to be ACE certified.
The ACE Education/Coaching Certification requirements may be fulfilled at RegisterUSASoftball.com - Account-Login.
CDC Concussion Training:
All Coaches and Assistant Coaches are not required but are recommended, to complete CDC Heads Up to Youth Sports Concussion Training.
USSSA Background Check:
If your team enters a USSSA Tournament all coaches will be required to login to USSSA.com with a Managers credential (which will be a code you create that is different from the parent login you use to register players)
